The Parish of Dickleburgh and Rushall is found about 6 miles northeast from Diss, close to the Norfolk/Suffolk border. It lies on the old Roman road to Caistor St Edmunds. Dickleburgh is well served with, All Saints Church and church rooms, the Village Stores, The Crown public house, village centre hall, large playing field with children’s play area, allotments, school,  pre-school and many community groups. Rushall is a smaller village with St Mary’s Church, St Clements Common, Half Moon public house, a repair garage and various small commercial units. The Parish has a population of 1,600 (2021 Census).

Dickleburgh and Rushall Neighbourhood Plan Update (January 2026– March 2026)

The District Council have agreed they are happy with the examiner’s version of the Neighbourhood Plan and will not challenge it. The District Council will therefore organise a vote which if successful means that the Dickleburgh and Rushall Neighbourhood plan becomes a lawful planning document for the Parish.

The Referendum has been set for March 19th 2026
